Great read
I’m not trying to start a book of the month club or anything (and anyone that knows me knows that I’m not one to sit down with a book), but I just finished reading “The World is Flat” (link to Amazon) by Thomas Friedman of the NY Times.
Being in high-tech software and selling to manufacturing, this is a bullseye. The book chronicles the recent events in the world that have “flattened” the world to the point that every (or nearly every) country can now compete. It talks about outsourcing of jobs to India, China and elsewhere, global supply chains, etc. It’s really a great read if you’re looking for something to do.
