<description>Trevor, that was a good discussion of the JDA acquisition of i2 and of the "best-of-breed versus suite" controversy. I agree completely that best-of-breed is not dead and indeed best-of-breed vendors continue to drive innovation in selected areas of supply chain and there are many areas of continued growth and opportunity. I also reinforce that a best-of-breed strategy can be completely compatible with an ERP strategy. SAP and to a different degree Oracle, have recognized that their value is in being a business process platform with a service-oriented architecture that is open to best of breed vendors plugging in and leveraging the data in the enterprise systems. SAP has gone so far as to define different levels of certification to encourage innovation from partners who leverage the SAP ecoystem to provide customer value. Those who have the status of "Endorsed Business Solution" have supported integration and a common support interface and it is an attractive approach both for the business user and the IT group.

Thanks,
