We just published our new paper “Essential characteristics of a supply chain risk management strategy” and so I sat down with it’s author, John Westerveld, to discuss the paper and get his further perspectives on some of the points raised in the paper.  John discusses the importance of both supply chain risk mitigation and risk response, why it’s becoming increasingly important to manufacturers and some of the technology enablers to build a successful supply chain risk management strategy.
