The latest edition of the IndustryWeek Manufacturing Business Challenge has just been released. This edition deals with managing wild demand swings (typically on the down side today, I’m afraid). The Challenge details the demand management problems a manufacturer is having with customers cancelling, altering and redirecting orders, and the implications it has on the supply chain.
