Nice and intesting analysis by you Francini.

While China has become a big daddy of manufacturing today but it is still to be seen that what will be the impact of current recession (if it keeps on dragging more) on its economy as the domestic demand is still not one of the drivers of economy. Another factor as you mentioned correctly, is the improvement required in quality and productivity to sustain themselves in ever increasing competition.

Thanks,

Being a major agricultural equipment manufacturing company and knowing about the changes in direction that are coming inside China, i.e. to become more agriculturally self sufficient, and as well knowing how large that market is, we can not afford to not be there. After all China has gigantic trade reserves mostly coming from the US and euro countries with which to pay for our capabilities and to aid in improving their social/economic system.
